Access to Beijing from Tianjin Port

My old experience
When I came to Tianjin by ferry in 2001,
I didn’t know how to get to Beijing.
Maybe repeated traveler can handle it, but at that time my wife and I had just started our travel around the world from Tianjin Port,
So we were in a panic.
A Japanese guy who was on the same ferry helped us and we could manage to arrive at Beijing with him.
That is a bitter memory.
Still I have never seen the guide book which tells us how to get to Beijing from Tianjin Port.
So I studied about the access to Beijing from Tianjin Port.
・・・after Olympic I checked the timetable of train.
That was changed much!
That's why I changed the contents.
Go to Tanggu Station from Tianjin by bus!
Go out from Tianjin Port, go through the parking lot, and you can find a bus stop on your left.
You can go to Tanggu Station by No.102 bus. (It runs from AM6:00～PM9:00)
It takes about 25 to 40 minutes and costs 1.5 RMB. (You should exchange money on the ferry in advance.)

Bus from Tanggu to Tianjin Station
From Tanggu Station, Waitan Park, and Western market to Tianjin Station
No621 bus 15 RMB it takes about 40 minutes.
According to the timetable at the bus stop in Waitan Park, bus is running until 7:00 PM.
But I don’t know what time exactly the last bus leave.
(I saw a bus left at about 6:30 PM at Waitan Park bus stop.)
New transportation will start by Olympic?
In Tanggu area there is a new train running, which is different from normal
train.
This is running only from Tanggu to eastern part of Tianjin right now,
so traveler cannot use it at all.
But it is said that will connect to Tianjin subway line by Olympic.
Who knows? We’ll see・・・
